Communication Is Key

Mentor has three main features that allow staff to communicate within the platform. Messaging, required readings and tasks give you effective and auditable methods of communication.

DIRECT MESSAGING

Being able to directly message a member of staff is a new feature of Mentor. You can use a messaging system that is very familiar in the way it works. See all of your colleagues that you have previously been in conversation with and easily select them showing the conversation.

Not only is it a direct messaging system but here you will also fine any tasks or required readings that have been sent to you. You can click on any required readings from here and view them.

More developments to the messaging feature are in the works

REQUIRED READINGS

Being able to share important information about a young person, a new policy or a team meeting couldn’t be easier. With a few clicks you can send required readings, including attachments. Staff receive these in their required reading lists and in their direct messages. Reports are available to see who has read the required reading and signed them off.

TASKS

Tasks can be set for individual staff members or for all staff. These appear on the home dashboard for that staff member and in their direct messages. Have accountability by setting tasks.
