Every aspect of Mentor V3 is designed to meet and exceed UK GDPR requirements. Data is stored on UK-only AWS cloud servers, ensuring compliance with data residency rules. Why a Web-Based System is Safer

Some providers worry that web-based platforms carry higher risks than app-based alternatives. In reality, web access is often the safer, more flexible option:

  • Always up to date – security patches and updates are applied instantly, with no need to download or manage app versions.
  • Access anywhere, securely – whether on desktop, mobile, or tablet, your team can log in with confidence through secure HTTPS connections.
  • Centralised controls – permissions, roles, and access rights are all managed in one place, giving leaders oversight without relying on local devices.

The Rationale for No IP Restrictions

We’ve chosen not to restrict logins by IP address, because care doesn’t just happen behind one desk. Managers, staff, and RIs need access across homes, offices, and when travelling. Instead of limiting flexibility, we’ve built security into the login process:

  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) ensures only authorised users gain access
  • Role-based permissions control what each staff member can see or do
  • Audit trails track every action, so you always know who did what, and when

This approach means you keep full control, without locking staff out when they need to act quickly.
